James Dale is both a business executive and author. He rose from copywriter to CEO of Doner Advertising,
a half billion-dollar international ad agency, advising major corporations including Chiquita, Ford, BP, Arby's
Restaurants, Fila, Klondike Ice Cream, Vlasic, Johns Hopkins University, Upjohn, Verizon, McCormick, Jos. A.
Bank, Eckerd Drugs.
He has since written several books, including both humorous and serious titles: Together We Were
Eleven Feet Nine – Jim Palmer and Earl Weaver, The Power of Nice – negotiating
so everyone wins, especially you, Bullies, Tyrants, and Impossible People – how to beat
them without joining then (both with Ron Shapiro & Mark Jankowski), Rules for Husbands/Rules for
Wives, and Tiger Woods Made Me Look Like a Genius (with Tiger’s coach).
Dale is also the co-founder of Richlin/Dale LLC, a business advisory dedicated to accelerating
growth for emerging companies (from entrepreneurial start-ups to major consumer brands – banks,
manufacturers, food products, universities, weather sites, global internet media companies), helping them
dissect complex challenges and find the simple – often obvious – answer which had eluded them.
He speaks to corporations, universities, and other groups about his approach to business and problem-solving.
